Which standards does the Spec+ range meet?
The range is designed for installations to BS 5839-6. Smoke alarms are certified to BS EN 14604, heat alarms to BS 5446-2 and carbon monoxide alarms to BS EN 50291-1. The approvals for each device are listed on its datasheet.
Can I interlink smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms together?
Yes. Spec+ devices interlink wirelessly using BLE, so smoke, heat and CO alarms trigger together across a property, with controllers to test and locate the system.
What does the 10 year warranty cover?
Every Spec+ alarm is covered by a 10 year warranty from the date of installation, in line with the sealed lifespan of the device. Full terms are included in the specification pack.
